Delivery Information and Instructions

Armoires Etc. delivers to you several ways: by Curbside Freight carrier, White Glove Trucking Company, UPS, FedEx, or FedEx Home Delivery.

Trucking Company Delivery

Merchandise is scheduled for delivery when your order is received at our warehouse by our shipping department. After your order is shipped, you will receive the PRO Number by email. The Trucking Company will contact you to schedule delivery. This service is curbside only.

All CUSTOMERS that desire "WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY SERVICE" need to request so at the time the order is submitted and will be the expense of the customer. If you are unclear as the whether or not your purchase qualifies for this service, please email us at sales@armoiresetc.net. All service upgrades are available but need to pre-arranged and paid for prior to delivery.

It is your responsibility to report any special delivery conditions, otherwise you may not receive your merchandise and you will have to pick it up at the Trucking Company's terminal that is closest to you.

If you have special environmental conditions, such as your home being on a very narrow street or mountainside, and you cannot receive your merchandise and you do not pick it up at the terminal, you must pay for the freight on the merchandise returned back to us.

If you are not at home or for any reason miss the scheduled delivery, the Trucking Company will reschedule a second delivery and you may have to pay for any additional delivery charge to the Trucking Company.

All small items will be delivered via UPS or FedEx.

Notification of Delivery

The Trucking Company will notify you in advance of their arrival. Please be sure to have someone there to receive and inspect your merchandise.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COORDINATE YOUR SCHEDULE WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE TIME THEY CONTACT YOU FOR DELIVERY, STORAGE FEES MAY BE ASSESSED AND YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL CHARGES THAT APPLY.

If your order ships via Trucking Company, you will receive the name website or telephone number of the carrier and the PRO Number or your shipment via email. You can check the status of your shipment by using the PRO Number Online or calling the terminal.

UPS publishes its approximate shipping transit time at http://www.ups.com. FedEx publishes its approximate shipping transit time at http://www.fedex.com. If your order was shipped out UPS or FedEx, you will receive a tracking number via email. Please use that number to track your order.

Inspecting Your Delivery

Some of the furniture that we carry arrives disassembled. All shipments are insured against damage. When your order arrives, please take the time to ensure the paperwork is accurate and that the correct item and number of cartons have been delivered. Please also inspect the packaging and the package contents for any shipping damage. Any damage caused from shipping must be noted on the delivery receipt or the insurance cannot be claimed - no Exceptions.

Any Legal Disputes resulting in damages, from failure to comply with our Detailed Delivery Instructions will result in a court action against you with Jurisdiction residing in the county of Nassau, Florida, from where the freight originated.

Inspecting Trucking Company Shipments

It is imperative that you make a claim of any damage or defect immediately upon delivery by noting the problem on the carrier's Bill of Lading.

Please verify that the correct item and number or cartons have been delivered, and inspect your furniture carefully while the delivery person is still at your home, before signing your delivery Bill of Lading receipt. You signature is your acknowledgement that your merchandise is satisfactory and is in order.

Before you sign your name, you must indicate the problem on the Bill of Lading. Armoires Etc. WILL ACCEPT NO OTHER CLAIMS. Any claim of damage that is not noted on the Bill of Lading is your responsibility to pursue directly with the Trucking Company.

If you do not have time to inspect your shipment when the driver delivers it, it necessary to note on the delivery receipt any dents, dings, holes or damages to the outer packaging in the drivers presence.

If you find any damage, keep all contents and their original outer and inner packaging in case a inspection is necessary.

If an inspection in necessary, it will be your responsibility when an inspector calls you to arrange a time to meet although an inspection is rarely necessary.

If any item is refused for any reason at all, all freight charges incurred are not refundable and a 20% restocking fee will apply.

For All Shipments

Armoires Etc. is unable to accept responsibility for any damage that has not been noted on the Bill of Lading for trucking shipments, or any damage reported to us more than 48 hours after delivery for UPS or FedEx shipments. You must keep all original packaging material until the situation is resolved in case a return or inspection is necessary. Valid damage claims will be resolved by repair or replacement of the item, at the sole discretion of Armoires Etc. Damaged items will only be repaired or replaced. We will not accept any returns for pieces not damaged. We will consider returns of pieces not damaged however in all cases, actual freight charges will be the customers responsibility.

Terms and Conditions

Order Processing

After our Office Manager receives your payment, an order will be submitted to the supplier to have the merchandise sent to our warehouse. After a complete inspection, the items will be sent to your home.

You will be informed by email when any of the items in your order are out of stock. Armoires Etc. is not responsible for changes in inventory at the suppliers warehouse. We will work closely with our purchase department to make sure your order is shipped as soon as possible.

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order and receive a full refund within 48 hours of ordering.

After 48 hours, if your order has already arrived at our shipping warehouse or is in production a 20% restocking fee will apply to your account.

If your order has already shipped, any cancellations or shipment refusals will be considered "Returns". As with a return, the customer will be responsible for actual freight BOTH ways in addition to the 20% restocking. Bear in mind, actual freight may be much higher than the freight we charge you on the website.

Returns

If you wish to return or refuse your order, you are welcome to do so. However you will be responsible for actual freight BOTH ways in addition to the 20% restocking fee. Bear in mind, the actual freight may be much higher than the freight we charge you (or free shipping) on the website. You can return the item using the carrier of your choice. Once we receive the return, we will refund your account the product price minus 20% restocking fee. Original freight and return freight, if applicable, will not be refunded.

Payment Options

Armoires Etc. offers customers many convenient ways to pay for their purchases: credit card, certified check, money order, or personal check.

Please list your item number along with your payment. Your order will not be shipped until your payment has been verified and cleared.

Armoires Etc. is requied to collect sales tax for items shipped to any address within Florida (7%). For orders shipped outside of Florida, but within the United States, Armoires Etc. is not required to collect sales tax therefore any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
